Healing Hand Foundation Grant Application
This grant opportunity is available through funding from the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) and their Healthy is Here initiative. SEARHC continues to make a positive impact on the lives of people throughout Southeast Alaska. The Healing Hand Foundation is grateful for SEARHC’s generosity, providing direct support to individuals impacted by COVID-19.
What is the Healing Hand Healthy is Here COVID-19 Relief mini-grant?
Healthy is Here COVID-19 (HIH-COVID-19) is a grant distributed by the Healing Hand Foundation (HHF) to provide financial assistance to residents in Southeast Alaska. Individuals can qualify for up to $250 and families/households can qualify up to $500. Applicants must reside in Southeast Alaska and show a demonstrated need for financial support during the COVID-19 crisis. This is a limited funding opportunity and is available for a limited time.
What is the timeline to apply?
The application form is open May 1 through May 15, 2020.
Applicants can expect to hear back about their application by May 25, 2020.
Distribution of mini-grants, by the HHF to those that qualify, will be through the end of May.
Individuals are encouraged to apply early, as funding is limited.
Who is eligible to apply?
Any individual that lives in Southeast Alaska is eligible to apply for a HIH-COVID-19 mini-grant.
Unfortunately, we cannot disburse mini-grants to organizations, schools, or tribal organizations.
Preference given to Alaska Native beneficiaries and U.S. Veterans demonstrating a financial need.
